I don't even know what's going on
Jan. 21st, 2013 10:00 pmToday involved being twitchy, unable to concentrate, and generally kind of ADD. No idea.
I've also had some writer's block lately, but regardless:
And also, a peek at the third rewrite of AG:
"The asylum hid within plain sight, disguised as the four-story colonial home it had once been. The rainy season had beaten the bricks down to mottled shades of red, brown, and tan, while the roof tiles had clearly been replaced many times over the long decades. The only sign that a rich family no longer resided there was a sign, small enough that one had to get quite close to see it -- "New Life Hospital".
Rose May Pursa knew what the building was, though, and as she dodged a cabby determined to kill anyone who got in the way, she wondered if she should have gotten a ride to work. That would have involved risking being a witness to a murder, however, and as she thought on it, it did not seem likely that anyone would dare approach. Despite the asylum's impressive disguise, people still seemed to know its reputation, and formed a slightest bubble around the entrance. Perhaps it was the building's bizarre look, a victim of poor restoration. The windows were narrow, the front door sturdy and required an extra good shove to creak open. Once upon a time, she thought, the building had been a welcoming impressive sight. Two hundred years later, it looked more like a ghost unable to let go of its former life.
"
Now to play video games and think about writing about dragons or something.
Tschuess.
