(I will update with a real entry eventually, I promise! Especially one explaining this in detail)

So... It looks like my insurance is going to reject coverage for my bloodwork, or at least give me an insane run-around for it. The cost is going to be for at least $1400.

And my options for this are pretty limited:

1) Pay it all straight up. This will get rid of the problem instantly, but also rob me of money I want to use for rent. It will be near-impossible to build back up. I'd have money to pay for November's rent and that would literally be it. I need to have funds to pay for rent at least until January when my second loan dispersement occurs.
2) Ask for help from the family. This will get rid of the problem eventually but at the cost of feeling like a worthless bum and also potentially having my family up in my case. They also may not be able to afford it.
3) Get another loan. This will get rid of the problem eventually but at the cost of more debt and I'm not sure how easily I could get a loan right now.
4) Take up more jobs here and there. This would include more shifts at the dining hall, possibly a second job, and likely signing up at the temp. agency and taking what I can get. This would also likely mean seeing about opening up commissions for sketches and my writing to pull in extra funds. THis will get rid of the problem slowly, but eat up precious time that I barely have as it is.

And all of this would have to happen while trying to pay for rent, food, and MORE medical expenses because they are fucking never-ending.

Fuck my health.

And fuck my insurance too.

I have nothing helpful to say, but: fuck, that sucks, and I'm tired of shitty things happening to you and other awesome people. Tell me what insurance company it is, and maybe when I inevitably snap from stress one day, I'll kill all the RIGHT people? Haha.

Oh, hell. I'm so sorry to hear that this is happening. I reserve a special sort of rage for situations in which a person is penalized for being ill in one manner or another. I hope that you find a way to resolve this that you can at least be comfortable with.
